Welcome to Briar of Barbados! I’m Briar, a creative soul living and working on the beautiful island of Barbados. With a background in marketing across the Caribbean, I’m always immersed in exciting projects and collaborations that keep me on my toes.

I’ve had the privilege of living in diverse places—Barbados, Venezuela, Canada, New Mexico, and Florida—which fueled my passion for travel and exploring new cultures. These experiences continue to shape who I am, and you’ll often find me dreaming about the next adventure.

When I’m not busy working or exploring, you’ll find me in my garden. Growing beautiful flowers and fresh crops for my family is one of my greatest joys. It’s a peaceful escape where I connect with nature and provide homegrown goodness for the ones I love.

I’m also passionate about crochet and crafting keepsakes, particularly for babies. While I used to sell my handmade pieces through my Brathwaite Brand page, I now focus on custom orders. Beyond crochet, I sew, paint, and embrace any creative outlet that sparks inspiration. Fashion is another love of mine, and I enjoy expressing myself through unique and stylish choices.
